Christmas ; The festival celebrated with no boundaries...

We know that it is the Christmas season.. A festival celebrated without boundaries. By boundaries I don't mean any geographical margins but those boundaries which gulped our society such as caste, creed, colour , race , religion , country and politics.

Christmas is not the time to be wasted like we have done through the years. It should be a time for joyous celebrations. It should be a 'getting rid off' tome to all our workaholic activities and spend time with our family and friends. Christmas really brings out cherishing thoughts to me such as cakes, wines and Christmas trees. Of course one cannot forget Santa! But Christmas is not the same for all across the Globe. When I celebrate with you our Christmas, thousands are looking at us with bare hands. At this beautiful moment of Christmas feasts, I would like to say you about a wonderful story of a poor brother who wanted her little sister to be happy though after the Christmas eve.
It was a Christmas eve years ago.In the town of Bennetis there lived George, a boy nearly ten and his little sister Rachel who was six. They lacked the fate of a good Christmas tree or even the Christmas gift which the 'UNKNOWN' Santa would gift them. They were in poverty so does their faces. Lacking good food even on Christmas, their faces were dried as if raisins.
Little Rachel wanted a gift and a tree for Christmas but her mother was unable to buy one. George knew the situation of their family who lost their father years ago well but he wanted his sister to be happy. In search of a Christmas tree for five coins which his mother saved for Christmas he roamed around in the market. Even the smallest of the small trees had a price range above his budget. He was disappointed.
Seeing her brother coming home little Rachel ran to him to see her new Christmas tree, but.... Still George wanted his sister to be happy. He saw his mother and she learnt what troubled George. She said him that God helped good people and that they did no trouble for others and he would show light on every dark roads. George was confident that he would make his sister happy.
He went to her sister and whispered her that Santa would to their home only a day after Christmas but he will surely come with a beautiful Christmas tree. Rachel was excited. She waited for the Christmas day to pass by....
The Christmas day passed by and Rachel went to her bed. But she asked to her brother and made a final confirmation with her brother whether Santa would come or not. George then said," Don't worry Rachel! He will.. "
As soon as Rachel slept quietly  George went out of his house and walked through the road blankly and without the knowledge of making his sister happy. While he was walking through the road, he saw a Christmas tree in the waste bin which was thrown away after the days celebration. Without a moment thinking George took the tree and walked to his home. He decorated it with a star which his father presented him as a Christmas gift years ago.

Seeing this, Rachel who woke up from her good night nap jumped with joy. George was happy. His mother hearing all this racket , woke from her nap and went to the hall room. Seeing the old Christmas tree her son has brought, the mother hugged him and started to weep. George stood blank staring at his mother...
Merry Christmas Everyone!
